Autobiography is the flavour of the month, this, and many others I think.
With several further episodes of members lives and one new one to consider, a fascinating insight into the world we live in through those recollections bought gasps of amazement and tears of both horror and joy and of course laughter at the diverse, personal and intricate paths that bring us though days in this world. Great feedback and discussion on both style and content of the pieces came easily and was received well.
Other non-autobiographical writing brought thought provoking and heart shuddering reaction as we considered the merits of hypnosis, the benefits and blights of pets, and the horror of molestation and rape. One thing we can say about the group is that it is neither mediocre or shy in its creativity and we say, more power to the pen for that confidence to produce and share such powerful writing.
On other matters, the changes at the Library of Erdington are almost confirmed and change there will be for Pens. We are still in negotiation with the library but please be assured that as soon as the new arrangements are settled members and followers will be notified immediately.
Enjoy the sunshine while we have it and let the sap rise in your pens and laptops to continue producing the amazing creative work that everyone does.
